2 Warm Speckled Dinner Plates for Paint Your Own Ceramic Night

$70.00

This workshop takes place at Atelier on 335 Pierpont Avenue, Salt Lake City. Refer to the main workshop page for date details.

These ceramic plates are made out of speckled buff clay. When glaze fired, plates turn a warm color with speckled. See images for test tile examples of how underglaze appears after being fired and for other examples.

All materials will be provided including hand-made bisqued plates, an assortment of underglaze colors, underglaze pencils, glaze pens, tracing paper, and more.

You will receive 2 dinner plates to hand-paint that measure 8.5’’ round. Olivia will finish off each plate with a clear glaze and glaze firing.

Plates will be available for pickup at Atelier within 3 weeks. An email will be sent when your piece is ready for pickup.

Participants are encouraged to bring inspiration or an image to trace.

This workshop is part of a series of “Paint Your Own” nights hosted by Olivia.

* Seats are limited. By purchasing, you are reserving your seat in the workshop. No refunds will be given. If you can’t attend the workshop after signing up, please email Olivia at innerspacism@gmail.com so you can attend a future workshop. *

Very rarely do bisqued ceramics glaze fire and crack. In the case of cracking, you will receive a replacement to re-paint during a chosen time that works for you or in the next workshop.
